Shamrock Three-Size Wrap-Around Diaper

They call it the Shamrock because it offers three sizes (small, medium, & large) all in one. It is constructed of three full body layers of USA milled organic cotton interlock and a three layer internal soaker pad. Although this diaper has an internal soaker pad, it is not terribly thick so it will wash up nicely and dry quickly. You will likely want to include a lay-in soaker with your diaper for older babies to get the absorbency you need. Shamrock doublers, below, work beautifully. But any natural fiber doubler, soaker, insert or prefold (like cotton or hemp) can be added to this diaper made by Precious Dignity - it is so flexible it works with just about anything!

The Shamrock is kind of like a fitted with its elastic at the waist and legs. When you want the diaper to fit the rise of a small baby, you’ll fold down the front of the diaper just like you would with a prefold or contour diaper. Fold the front down less and less as the baby grows to get the fit you’re looking for. The waist is secured with a tie that crisscrosses in the front and wraps around the back. It’s the same kind of tie used on wrap-around skirts to make it fit all waist sizes. The ties are attached to the diaper with snaps so you can take them off if you don’t prefer to use them and for laundering. We highly recommend taking the ties off and putting them in a lingerie bag so that they don’t get all knotted up in the wash. If you should lose your ties or need longer ties, Precious Dignity will replace them!
